Pascale and Enzo founded Les Nereides out of a love for tasteful and imaginative jewelry, both wild and fanciful. Inspiration came from various places; from the markets of India to garage sales in New York. They find inspiration in obscure places, but everything is grounded in French refinement. Les Nereides, which means “sea nymph” in French, were the daughters of Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea. In mythology, when the Nereides came together, they had the power to reinvent themselves; Pascale and Enzo share the same sentiment. The business has grown to include their four children, who help design and make each piece. Hand-made and hand-painted in Paris, France, each piece is unique and the product of meticulous craftsmanship. They use 18k gold-plating over silver, enamel, resin, glass, freshwater pearl in their jewelry designs.
