I want to get up the courage to blog…

I remember my grandmother talking about how, when she came to this country, she came by boat rather than by plane. My cousin then responded, “Grandma, you came by boat because planes WEREN’T INVENTED yet.” Well, I guess that tells you how old I am.

Anyway, I feel pretty comfortable running a website, but my heart is still in my throat when I think about blogging and social media. So, forgive my blunders, and for those of you around my age, learn along with me. It will be part of our great adventure for 2009.

And along with all this, let me introduce Adam to you. Adam is the newest member of The Passionate Collector team and the one who has the task of bringing the blog and our social networking efforts up to par. We wanted to be completely transparent for all our readers, so we are naming our posts.

So, thank you Adam for the wonderful job you are doing for TPC and the guysguidetojewelry.com. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts and marveled at your creativity. It’s always fascinating to me to see the websites from another person’s point of view.

And for the rest of you out there, please let us know how we are doing. We love getting comments from our customers and want to share with the world how much you enjoy the wonderful pieces we feature. In fact, we’d love you to share how much you love The Passionate Collector with your friends and family.
