"I have attended many of Susan's jewelry shows over the last few years. It is a pleasure to browse through her creative displays for gifts... for others or myself! I am always able to find lovely and/or unique pieces made of the highest quality. I trust Susan's sense of style and her eye for quality. She has done a wonderful job of creating a business that feels like a social gathering to which I look forward to attending again and again!"

What a Beautiful City!

What a Beautiful City!

We are back on the road after our stint in NYC two weeks ago.  We will be at the National Association of Women Business Owners for the national conference in Chicago on Wednesday-Friday, June 24-26.  Should be really fun.

Preflight departure was a comedy of errors–a cancelled tix (by mistake), too many bags, redistributing the weight among three bags to meet the limits, long security lines, hungry tummies and the back of the bus so to speak.

What do you think of an airport valet service that would take your carry-on right to the overhead compartment for you?  All people would have to do would be find their seat number and get in it.  It would be much more efficient and way easier than trying to lift an unwieldy heavy bag above your head into a tiny compartment.

I’d pay for that service, wouldn’t you???

Holiday Gift Go-Round

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Just coming back from NYC after exhibiting at a new products show for media editors. Hard to believe that people are gathering ideas for the 2009 Holiday Season, but that is the case with the media.

Dragging huge suitcases into and out of doors, elevators, taxis; setting up early in the morning and showing off and chatting about  your wares are all part of the game. We enjoyed talking to all the editors and meeting some of the fellow exhibitors.

And how righteous do we feel that we didn’t end up eating the delicious See’s candy or ice cream, cookies and vegan goodies across the aisle from us.

Could really get into a treat right now though!

Summer Essentials

tpc-summer-essentials2

I think I can safely say that summer is upon us.  The days are getting longer (and hotter) and the bbq grill has definitely come out of hibernation.  Summer plans are filling up the calander.  The next three months are a time for friends, family, and, of course, some fun in the sun!

So what have you got planned this summer?  A trip to the beach?  The quintessential family vacation to one of our country’s many historical sites?  Maybe a little romantic getaway?  Even if all you’ve got planned is a stay-cation, there’s adventure to be had.

So go ahead, pack your bags and get out of town!

{Good thing susan pulled together a travel with style survival kit.  These items are perfect for a day seeing the sites or a night out on the town.  Go explore in style.}
